Kuliyapitiya Police Station is conducting further investigations

The suspect who was arrested in an investigation that resulted in the recovery of 13 three-wheelers and 07 motorcycles stolen from the areas of Kuliyapitiya, Kurunegala, Narammala, Polgahawela, Alawwa and Marawila was produced before the court again yesterday, 2025.03.27.

Based on information uncovered by officers of the Kuliyapitiya Police Station, on 20.03.2025, the 47-year-old suspect was arrested in Kuliyapitiya town while in possession of 05 grams and 200 milligrams of the drug Ice. He was produced before the Kuliyapitiya Magistrate's Court on 21.03.2025 and remanded in custody. Through questioning, it has now been possible to find the above number of vehicles.

The Kuliyapitiya Police Station is conducting further investigations into the suspect.
